This post is super super exciting and has been planned for over a month... I finally got to collaborate with an awesome lady for a fun shoot! Diane Pantoja is a super talented photographer who has a love for fashion and the beautiful things in life. We decided to get creative - me with makeup and Diane behind the camera to see what we could come up with! This post is quite pic heavy but hopefully you guys like the shots! There are two makeup looks that were created using some of my favourite products that might be considered to have a cult following all over the world. You'll notice some mean looking watches through the photos as well, thanks to the team at XPLUS who create these super original timepieces.

What is a cult favourite if it's not a MAC lipstick? Ruby Woo is one of the perfect reds - and is wildly popular worldwide. The colour is timeless and the matte formula is absolutely perfect. This shade will take you from day to night, flawlessly. I went heavy on the cheeks with NARS Orgasm which is the perfect peach with gold flecks throughout. I find this to flatter any skintone, and the formula provides amazing all day wear. Heavy was also required on the lashes, in the form of Too Faced Better Than Sex. It's only a recent addition but it's certainly my holy grail mascara and I've never heard a bad word about it.

Onto more practical matters; eyebrows need setting and filling. Benefit Cosmetics have always lead the way in brow products and their innovative Gimme Brow is no exception. An awesome brow gel that sets hard and fills naturally, I love this product for everyday use. Organic products are also starting to pave a wide path onto the beauty scene and my favourite up-and-coming brand is Inika Truly Organic. Their Pure Primer provides a silky formula that preps the skin for makeup but also prolongs the life of your foundation. Minus all the nasties!

This look is a go-to for lots of people. It takes a clean base, simple eyes and pops with a bright lip. I kept the eyes easy with a slight rose-coloured shimmer all over the lid, and lashings of mascara. No bronzer necessary, but heavy blush was on the agenda just to add colour to my face that would balance the bright lipstick.

Of course it was completely necessary for me to go all out and create a dark smoked-out eye, and it just took a little bit of help from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palettes, both 1 and 2. One might argue that the whole Urban Decay range is a cult fave, and I am going to wholeheartedly agree with that. Their eyeshadows are second to none. In an effort to blur my skin and keep it looking flawless, I reached for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light to finish off my base. This is a stunning finishing powder that comes in a range of shades to suit everyone's needs. Another cult MAC lipstick is Velvet Teddy; thanks to Kylie Jenner and her rumoured ownership of this shade it has exploded across the globe and become the nude that you.must.have. Lastly, my favourite highlight of the moment is theBalm Mary Loumanizer, and this is the perfect way to add a stunning highlight without looking glittery. I haven't met a product like it.

This look was much more intense and focuses on flawless skin, heavy and dark eyes, and a strong contour. For those of us born without sculptured cheekbones, contouring is the best way to achieve an intense look and I love that it's so adaptable to many different face shapes and colours. The key to the eyes is blending blending blending so that the dark shades don't look too harsh or sharp. Always start with lighter colours and work your way to the darker ones. I try to always balance a dark eye with a more natural lip, that way the attention is drawn only one way.

Other products used across these two looks include Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup in shade 5.0, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Ardell Natural false eyelashes, Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, L'oreal Colour Riche Quad Eyeshadow in E5 Incredible Grey and Kevyn Aucoin Precision Brow Pencil.

Lots of thanks and love going out to Diane for doing all the hard work, and for the XPLUS team for allowing us to feature their watches!
