Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam in Dark

If you have ever fake tanned before, odds are that you've heard of or even used Bondi Sands products. This post is a revamped version of an older review featuring the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam. To sum it up, I'm still using this product years later, and it still is amazing.

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam in Dark

Once upon a time I used tanning lotions, but quickly discovered the mousse is where it's at. The formula is much easier to spread and blend, and it dries down faster. Bondi Sands products have a characteristic green based colour, which gives a bronze/olive result without any orange.

Always use a tanning mitt to protect your hands, and I find that two pumps for each limb is ample. I use the Dark Foam, so it's always safest to apply moisturiser to feet, ankles, knees, elbows and wrists before applying the tan. This is to ensure even blending and no weird dry patches.

You can leave the tan to develop for as little as one hour, but best results will be seen after 6 hours or overnight. I am ALWAYS so happy with the results of this tan. Generally colour lasts for 5-7 days before it begins to fade/wear away. For best results you can also moisturise everyday, or apply a gradual tanning lotion daily to keep the colour going strong.

Overall I am super happy with this product and I feel it is well worth the price tag. You'll find Bondi Sands is much more affordable than some other options, and the bottle is quite generous. There are at least several full-body applications in there. We also love supporting Aussie brands!

Have you tried Bondi Sands? What are your favourite products from the range?
